Hiya gents, long time no see! Koro says hi! :)
How are things with SRS? To be honest I haven't played anything since about 2010, but all of a sudden got the urge a few weeks ago to get my game on! Thought i'd pop over and see how the rest of you guys are going and what you're upto.
At the moment i'm at home in the stix so I haven't got net worth gaming with, so i'm re-acquainting myself with the entire Rainbow Six franchise - probably my first and truest love. Also licking my lips at the prospects of two indie-FPS projects that I though...
Nothing, this is their first release.
The lead developer used to be a Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon modder, then worked for Red Storm Entertainment/Ubisoft on GRAW for xbox and recently did contract work on Red Orchestra 2. I think there were a few other things he's done.
Blackfoot Studios relaunched their website yesterday, and uploaded this teaser video for Ground Branch:

Not a whole lot in it, but apparently it's still in the pre-alpha stages. Will go to kickstarter very soon and they're hoping it will be released early in the new year.
They've also made a new website exclusively for the game: http://www.groundbranch.com - has a feature list (which looks very tasty indeed) and a few more screenies.
GFX don't look particularly good at the moment, but they're hoping DX11 will allow probl...
Thanks for remembering me guys :P If I ever get around to installing TS again, and move back into town where I can have lag-free internet, I'll be sure to jump on and catch up :)
P.S I miss my sugar crates on Border </3
So I've spent the last day or so checking out whatever I can about Takedown, it seems as if it will be aimed more towards the HARDCORE tactical shooter, emphasising precise mission planning, tight squad formations and really urban, CQB maps - room clearing, non-lethal arrests where possible etc. Perhaps not exactly what us budding AA fans are after, but i'm sure it will still be good.
In my travels, I also found out about another new tactical shooter called Ground Branch. It's based off the UE3 engine and looks VERY similar to AA3 (in looks)...
Holy hell, Rainbow Six and Swat?! Spiritual successor?! Combined with AA, they represent my 3 favourite games of all time. I'm on it!
Hey ladies,
Not sure if a lot of you would know/remember me, probably more familiar with the Aussie guys, just thought i'd pop in to say hi :) Haven't really played a game since AA died all those years ago, and have just recently realised how much I miss it!
What's been the haps with the mighty NOC'ers?! Who's still around, what games are graced by the NOC tag etc! Fill me in.
Hope all is well. Hit us back :)
Yoges!
Oh and hello to Polish and Ninj from above you on the table ;)
