You guys have any problems trying to start a private game? I can't seem to either join a private game lobby or be joined to... I setup my router with all the TCP and UDP port exceptions and it's not working. I even put my machine in the DMZ, not working. I turned off the firewall... not working.

I can join random zombie matches, so this one really escapes me.

Hope you guys can help

Some of us have problems inviting others and some have issues connecting to others. Its really a crap shoot from what I know.

i had some problems when i tried to join Sarge on a private match. it was very weird

It looks like this isn't isolated to me, so have you guys every played coop together? How do those random games work? I'm guessing private matches are hosted in the host's machine and the random match is hosted in steam's server?

This is one of the many bugs they still need to fix in the game aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

Only coop that we've tried to play together is zombies and it seems to work fine for us . . . eventually.

with the most recent update i thought they fixed all that. before i wiuld try to join big papa and it would put me with some randoms. if you are still having problems, try to restart steam and try again. also at the bottom of the screen you can set your privacy options.
