So I installed windows 7 ultimate to improve my games (with directx 11), but now MW2 is not running as smooth as it did on Windows XP.
I got a:
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53GHz processor, so it should be enough.
My graphic card is a
Ati Radeon HD 5830,
I got a P5B motherboard
and 4 GB RAM. (while only 3GB avaible).
Anyone having an idea?
thanks in forward for replying!

Well first I would make sure that you're windows is in fact a 64 bit instead of a 86 bit (32) cause there is no other reason (that I know of) that your windows should only recognize 3 gigs of ram instead of 4 other than one stick being bad.
Other then that, I would play with the graphics in game to see if maybe medium quality provides a better performance then on high.
Other then my other then, like Ninja said, Google is your friend. I'm sure there are billions of topics just like yours with a billion different solutions. So you'll just have to see which cases are just like yours and work from there.
Anything else I can do let me know.

If windows only says 3gb of ram it is either 32bit or one gig of ram is toast. 64bit would see all 4gb if they are functioning.

Snipey, if you want easy info on your computer? Google PC Wizard and run that baby, tells you everything that's inside your computer without ever opening the case also tells you if your system is 32 or 64 bit a bit of a bonus if you ever get in a crunch and need an easy way out ;)
