Oh hello everyone,

I am on my work computer, as I’m pretty sure something happened to my new, less than 4 month laptop after playing bf3 last night.
It’s indicative of a major hardware problem so I’ve decided to end the laptop tomfoolery and decide on a new desktop. Any suggestions? I want to run battlefield at moderate settings, and I’m kinda set on the sandy bridge i5 processor with some kind of nvidia gforce card.
My budget is around 800 dollars +- 100 or maybe even more. I don’t have a monitor or operating system so I’ll have to purchase those too (unless I can torrent the os?)
If you guys can help me out that would be awesome.

Thanks

well i came back from fry's (large electronics store in the area) and they recommended me a different mobo and processor. I was wondering if you guys can chime in on your opinions with it

Processor: AMD fx-6100 $149 dollars. According to the dude I talked with he said that the AMD 6 core is a much better buy than the intel 15 2500 because of the additional cores and cost.
What is the reason for this price difference? quality?

mother board: ASUS M5A99X EVO

I don't think i'll be needing the SLI, just one good graphics card with this setup. any opinions? i'd like to get some feedback, i'm thinking of pulling the trigger tomorrow on this.

ok sounds good. For review, and for compatibility checking purposes i'm going to post my list of parts here. I'm on a budget so shaving off a couple of bones would be very beneficial and so if anyone want's to chime it that would be great.
