TBAGSHAKE 788 posts +8 votes =NOC= Administrator	I've been trying to come up with a new idea for a tattoo. I want to get this one on my lower forearm and it must have an evil eye in it. In case you don't know what an evil eye is, its mostly a Greek/Turkish belief that when someone envy's something about you, they're not knowingly wishing you harm. The evil eye protects you from this harm. There is a reason that I don't want to really get into but its the "main" part of this tattoo so I will always have one with me. Then I came up with the idea of a phoenix which if you don't know, is a mythological bird which represents immortality. The phoenix would lay its egg and on its last breath, light the egg, itself, and the nest on fire. The phoenix's ashes would seep into the egg and it would be born again as a new phoenix. Their "life cycles" were 500 years. Anyway, I was farting around in photoshop and found a tribal phoenix and added my evil eye to it : Let me know what you guys think. Quote: In the Aegean Region and other areas where light-colored eyes are relatively rare, people with green eyes are thought to bestow the curse, intentionally or unintentionally.[10] This belief may have arisen because people from cultures not used to the evil eye, such as Northern Europe, are likely to transgress local customs against staring or praising the beauty of children. Thus, in Greece and Turkey amulets against the evil eye take the form of blue eyes. Here is an image I made with a Phoenix I found. Not an artist but it would be a cool tattoo. TBAGSHAKE 788 posts +8 votes =NOC= Administrator	Yeah, those are pretty much the colors for the eye but I'm gonna bring an evil eye in with me so they get the colors spot on.
