This happens Every time i start Black ops or any other game, and continues like this until i restart my computer.
But the strange thing is, that its not like this when im playing the game only in the menus.
And after i shut it down ( the game) it continuous in Windows!!! annoying as hell!

It stated when i did some updates for my drivers some time ago.
i got a XFX Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 and im running expanded monitor ( note: one of the monitors is my TV)

WHATS WRONG ?!?! drivers or hardware?

Try to see if they have a new driver for your gfx card. If they do, install and see if it helps. If not, then I would say do a rollback to before this current one. If that doesn't work, it could be your cable. A billion things that could be wrong and I'm certainly not one to tell you which it is but I would start with the easiest to deal with and work your way up (which would be drivers).

the thing is that i have updated to new drivers.
but at first i thought it was bad drivers so i waited for new ones, but when they came it didn't help me at all.
so i can't really say when it stated. thus i can't make a proper rollback. ...

Try to roll back to older drivers that you know did work mate, if you still have them on your computer that is.

Yeah, I had monitor issues before and Matt was able to pinpoint it to my monitor cable. Make sure you have the right DVI ends for the connections. There are 3 types if I remember correctly and you may have to end up with a cable with 2 diff ends. Again, this is what happened to me in the past so idk what your problem could be.

Heya
Looks like the cables or possible refresh rate is not set properly
I would try going to Catylyst control panel and try setting refresh rate a 59mhz .... then try at 60 ..... possibly even 75mhz , if none of that works GET A HAMMER!!!
I dont think your screen is going because generally they just stop working.
And with graphics cards bumming out well usually from my experience they pixelate the screen with little green and red spots ..... if you arent sure on ya GPU maybe try downloading this ATI tray tool http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=733 it has a gpu monitor in there and you wil be able to check idle temps ......if they look high it may be your card that is buggered.
Hope this helps.
